Bruce Blakeman (Republican Party) is running for election for Governor of New York. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]

Blakeman was a 2014 Republican, Conservative and Independence Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of New York.[1] Blakeman won all three nominations in the primary on June 24, 2014.[2] He was defeated by Kathleen M. Rice (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3]

Blakeman ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 4th District. Blakeman won the Republican nomination and also ran uncontested for the Conservative and Independence Party nominations in the primary on June 24, 2014. He lost to Kathleen M. Rice (D) in the general election.[3] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
