Stand With Israel
Bruce Boyer, Candidate for Congress CA #26
Position paper. October 2023 I stand with Israel

THE U.S. STANDS WITH ISRAEL! Those who are evil (e.g. Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran) are clear that their goal is to destroy Israel, kill all the people, and destroy the U.S.A. Israel has been our strongest ally since their founding in 1948. Israel stands rock solid with the U.S. We must support Israel, to insure that Israel has all that it needs to defend itself. We must back Israel so that Israel can do whatever they deem necessary to protect their people. We are needed so that other nations know to not get involved.

Restore Our Constitutional Rights
The Second Amendment is 23 words. It says what it means and it means what it says. As a soldier, I swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I meant every word of that oath the day I took it, and I mean it today. As your representative in Congress, I will protect and defend our Constitution against all enemies.

Not Our War
The war in Ukraine is NOT OUR WAR! We are AT WAR WITH RUSSIA. The war in the Ukraine is a regional war between Ukraine and Russia. Neither of them are our allies. If Europe wants to “stop Russian expansion” (which is a created narrative; Russia’s claims on Ukraine are based on the fact that Kiev, Ukraine was the first capital of Russia, in 880 AD, and that Ukraine was a part of Russia fro most of the next 1,200 years) Europe can do so.

Europe has militaries that are FIVE times that of Russia’s; populations more than THREE times as large and a combined economy that is TWENTY times that of Russia. Europe is more than willing to let the U.S. fight “THEIR WAR,” and pay for it…

In so doing, we are poking the Russian Bear, committing acts of war against Russia. Russia has 1,800 nuclear weapons that can hit the U.S. with AN HOUR! World War III! If this conflict does escalate, we could see mobilization with tens of millions of Americans in uniform fighting to defend Ukraine.. NOT OUR WAR!

If we enter World War III, nothing else matters! That is why this is the Number One Issue!

Immigration Policy
Bruce Boyer, Candidate for Congress CA #26
Position paper. November 2023

Illegal entry of the United States:

The entry of persons illegally into the U.S. is exactly that: illegal. We have laws passed by Congress that must be enforced. I shall not go into the many problems and costs we incur as a result of the millions of persons who have crossed into the U.S. illegally. We know them.

Persons here illegally are not “immigrants”. Immigrants are people who follow the law to become U.S. citizens. Persons here illegally are criminals.

  1. 1 The first step to restoring the rule of law is that people stop breaking it. Build the wall. Not literally, but figuratively. We must prevent illegal entry to the U.S. Nothing is 100%, it needs to be a functional barrier.
  1. 2. Persons who have already broken the law must cease doing so. Breaking the law must stop. That means they need to voluntarily deport themselves and we can give them a receipt that they are here illegally and leaving the country and they show they did so. Doing so would show their willingness to obey our laws. I would give them consideration so they could then apply to enter legally. Persons who choose to continue to break the law need to pay the consequences and be deported.
  1. 3. Persons entering our country illegally cost the U.S. taxpayer money. The U.S. taxpayer needs to be made whole. We should make an accounting of that cost and it should be repaid. If it is not, then we will not grant visas of any kind to the citizens of that nation until it is. We can also deduct it from any payments the U.S. Government makes to them and even add on a tariff to repay us. That will get us paid.

Build the wall, deport them all, make them pay for their stay.

Once we have this done, then we can discuss changes to the law. I’m open.

Free Soil
Bruce Boyer, Candidate for Congress CA #26
Position paper. October 2023

Free soil. Open up our land for homes: The Republican Party was founded in 1856 on a basic principle of free men and free soil. All men are to be free, free to work as they deem best, for themselves. The land (soil) of the Country is for the people. For Free men to be able to get what is already their land, so free. Â

The Federal Govt controls vast amounts of land. Millions of acres. In many states more than half of the land is held by the Federal Govt.Â

In 1862 The Republican Party passed the Homestead Act. A family was able to settle Federal land, forty acres and build a home on it. After five years, the land was theirs. Free of charge.Â

We need another Homestead Act for today. Probably not forty acres, even a quarter acre gives one family plenty of room.Â

The price of homes is inflated because the politicians impose requirements and permits, reviews studies and all that literally triples the cost of constructing a home. Then, they cut deals to create a land shortage to drive up the cost of real estate. People need homes. People count, not ‘open space”. End ‘open space” preserves and turns the set-asides over to the people to live on. …Â

A nice add on is developing more dams to create reservoirs for our water, hydroelectric power, recreation, and lakefront real estate! Â

Education
Bruce Boyer, Candidate for Congress CA #26
Position paper. October 2023

Education; I support parents making the educational choices that they deem best for their children. Education is not a ‘one size fits all’. Parents should be given choices. If a public school is not to their liking they should be able to ‘opt out & cash out”. The govt. allocates money for the education of that child, that money is the tax dollars of the parents. Therefore the parents should have the right to use that money to educate their child in something other than the local private school and to have the use of that money to pay for it. Whether their choice is a public or private school, home-schooling or tutoring. The parent(s) choose what is best for their child.

As your member of Congress, I will push, advocate, vote all that I can to bring this about. I am all in.

The Federal govt has no actual authority to be involved in education. This is a local matter, not for Federal control.Â

Ban the Bomb of Federal Debt
In 2022 the U.S. Treasury collected a record $4.9 Trillion, and spent $6.3 Trillion, borrowing the difference. As of October 2023, the Federal Debt is $33.6 Trillion. Interest on this debt is projected to be $1 Trillion this year alone. In addition, Congress is borrowing an additional $2 Trillion this year.

Congress MUST balance the budget. Raising tax rates DECREASES revenues as it prevents the growth of the economy.

Congress must cut spending. A balanced budget is a cannot compromise MUST do. It will require a chainsaw, not a paring knife. This Cowboy knows how to run a chainsaw, and I will take one to the budget![2]
