Bruce S. Bryant (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maine State Senate, representing District 14. Bryant assumed office in 2002. Bryant left office in 2010.

Bryant graduated with a high school diploma from Dirgio High School. In addition to being a Senator, Bryant is a boiler operator for NewPage MeadWestvaco

Bryant expressed an intention to run for the 2nd Congressional District of Maine, but failed to file before the filing deadline of March 15, 2012.[1] Bryant sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket.[2] The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was March 15, 2012. The primary elections were held on June 12, 2012.
2010

Bryant was not eligible to seek re-election to the 14th District Seat in 2010, due to Maine's term limits. John Patrick ran for the seat on the Democratic ticket. H. Sawin Millett, Jr. ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Bryant ran for District 14 of the Maine State Senate, beating Glen Holmes.[3]
Bryant raised $22,505 for his campaign.[4]

OUI charge (2024)
On July 8, 2024, Bryant was charged with operating under the influence from an incident on May 10, 2024. This was his second OUI charge. The first charge took place in 2003 when he plead guilty and was ordered to pay a $400 fine and surrender his drivers license for 90 days.[5] Bryant did not offer a statement following the 2024 court appearance.[6]
