Bruce E. Scheckowitz
Bruce E. Scheckowitz is a judge for the Housing Court of the New York City Civil Court in New York County in New York. He was appointed to this position in 1999. He was reappointed in 2004, 2009 and 2014.[1][2]
Education
Scheckowitz received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.[1]
Career
Scheckowitz began his career in 1987 as a court attorney for the housing part of the civil court. He worked in that capacity until 1999, when he became a judge of that court.[1]
