Bruce Parent

Bruce Parent is a judge for the Lake County Superior Court in Indiana. He was appointed by Governor Mike Pence on September 2, 2014, to replace the late Judge Gerald N. Svetanoff.[1]
Education
Parent received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University.[1]
Career
Parent was a public defender in Lake County from 1997 until his judicial appointment in 2014. He was also a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Bruce D. Parent, PC, which focused mainly on family law. Parent was a Lake County deputy prosecutor from 1995 to 1997.[1]
