Bruce Trautman is the former acting director of natural resources in Iowa. He became acting director in May 2018 after Director Chuck Gipp retired. He stepped down on July 8, 2019, when Kayla Lyon took office to replace him.[1][2]

Political career

Iowa Director of Natural Resources (2018-2019)

Trautman was appointed by Gov. Terry E. Branstad (R) to head the state Department of Natural Resources after former director Chuck Gipp retired on May 1, 2018. Trautman stepped down in July 2019.[1]
