This measure sought to add to the current road levy by a rate of $.27 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of twenty years in order to further pay for road and bride construction and repair in the city.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of the City of Brunswick for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads and bridges in the City at a rate not exceeding two and seven-tenths (2.7) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty-seven cents ($0.27) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for twenty (20) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
