Bryan Butcher
Bryan Butcher served as Alaska Commissioner of the Department of Revenue from 2011 to 2013. Butcher was appointed commissioner by Governor Sean Parnell in January 2011 and resigned in August 2013 in order to take over as CEO of the Alaska Housing Finance Corp.[1][2]

Political career
Commissioner of the Department of Revenue (2011-2013)
Butcher served as Alaska Commissioner of the Department of Revenue since his appointment by Governor Sean Parnell in January 2011 until his resignation in early August 2013.[2]
Alaska Housing Finance Corporation
Butcher was the Director of Governmental Relations and Public Affairs for the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) for eight years and in a dual role was also Vice President of the recently formed Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) since 2010.[2]
Special Assistant for the Governor of Alaska
In 2009 Butcher served as a Special Assistant working on Economic Development issues for Governor Parnell.[2] Butcher also served as a member of former governor Sarah Palin’s gasline team through the AGIA process.
Before joining AHFC in 2003, Butcher previously worked for the Alaska State Legislature as a Finance Committee Aide for the House and Senate Finance Committees for 12 years. He also served as the coordinator for Governor Sean Parnell’s statewide transition team.[2]
