Campaign themes
2014
Sanguinito's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]
Invest in our Children's Education
- Excerpt: "State leaders have decimated educational opportunities for students by slashing billions of dollars to public education and higher education. An equitable extraction fee for big oil and gas could restore school funding and reduce property taxes."
Fairness for our Working Families
- Excerpt: "Too many hard-working men and women struggle to make enough money to provide for their families. If we ended million dollar tax breaks for big oil and gas, we could instead reward small area businesses that hire local workers at a living wage."
Honor our Hometown Heroes
- Excerpt: "As the grandson of a World War II Marine, Bryan has great respect for those brave men and women who provide us our security. We should honor our veterans, police, firefighters, nurses, first-responders, and all those who keep us safe."
Defend our Constitutional Freedoms
- Excerpt: "Too many hard-working men and women struggle to make enough money to provide for their families. If we ended million dollar tax breaks for big oil and gas, we could instead reward small area businesses that hire local workers at a living wage."
Fairness for our Working Families
- Excerpt: "Bryan believes deeply in, and will fervently defend, the rights and freedoms granted to us by God, by the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and by the Constitution of the United States of America."
