I'm a lifelong Lynnwood resident, husband to a proud Korean woman, and father to three sons. I've been a carpenter my entire life, and like many of you, I know the value of hard work. I grew up exploring old chicken farms and walking to Alderwood Mall—Lynnwood has always been home.

I'm running for city council because I want Lynnwood to remain a safe, affordable, and vibrant place for families. I'll advocate for all working people- from shift workers to small business owners- who struggle most to keep up with the growing affordability crisis in Lynnwood. By modernizing our government processes we can help local projects advance, produce more housing opportunities, and create local jobs through infrastructure improvements.

I've worked extensively with people facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. I believe in strengthening existing outreach programs and exploring creative ways to help those struggling most.

I love this city and want to see it thrive. Together, we can build a Lynnwood that works for everyone. I would be honored to earn your vote.
  • Public Safety - This is the most important. On one hand we need to make sure that the police feel the support from the public officials. As well as having enough funding to afford the manpower to truly police our streets. On the other hand, my long term plan is to use my relationships with the trades to bridge the gap between high-schools and apprenticeships. I want to give them true honest hope for their future. I believe the same technique can be used for people getting out of drug and alcohol treatment. This will give them a true path to a career.
  • Affordability- Bring the cost of housing and childcare down through zoning, land use and permitting reforms. Focus on home ownership opportunities, not just rentals.
  • Economic Development- Give small business support, workforce development, clean safe attractive places for new businesses to locate and thrive. That would also like to work on getting local priority higher language in these bigger infrastructure projects bringing higher paying jobs to Lynnwood citizens.
My biggest priority is Public Safety. I would also like to work on zoning to make sure that we protect the single family home neighborhoods that makes Lynnwood beautiful while also creating more dense areas for the population boom we will be experiencing. I also want to focus on bringing more work to people that live in Lynnwood also giving them the ability to work in Lynnwood as well.
John F. Kennedy, visibility to work with all politicians regardless of their political affiliation.
Transparency and honesty it's number one. Also I would like to see public officials be a little more selfless and focused on the citizens.
I'm good with numbers and can budget. I have the ability to work well with others regardless if I agree. I have the ability to at least hear them out and see their side.
To represent the people that live in the city, the only representing the needs of a few. Integrity is also key, I may have a past but I have grown from that past and I am open about what I have gone through and how I've grown from it.
Giving Lynnwood fiscal responsibility
Residential Carpenter, worked on and off in that field pretty much my whole career.
The Hobbit. It was the first book I ever read.
THX 1138. I want to know what he felt like when he finally got free.
I was homeless for 10 years struggling with the drug addiction. I went 6 month program and ended up staying for 2 years serving as the men's director. My path has not been perfect but I learned from my mistakes.
Yes I believe it's important. Not necessarily important to have held a public office but important to have been involved in some sort of politics.
I have served as the treasure for the Carpenters Union Local 425, I can bring my ability to budget to the city allowing us to correctly budget. I have also served at the political action committee chair for the same local, I'm very aware of how other cities handle policies aswell as how current officials of Lynnwood.
The city council pretty much has the last say on everything that goes on in the city
