A Bucks Township Property Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Township of Bucks to renew a property tax levy of up to 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the fire protection services of the Bucks Township.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Bucks Twp. (excluding the Village of Baltic) for the purpose of fire protection at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
