Bud Hover
Donald "Bud" Hover is a former Director of Agriculture for the state of Washington. He was named to the state executive post by Governor Jay Inslee (D) on March 12, 2013.[1]
Hover assumed the office on April 1, 2013, succeeding four year officeholder Dan Newhouse.[2]
Biography
Prior to his appointment as Agriculture Director, Hover served as Okanogan County Commissioner. He and his family run a hay and cattle ranch in Winthrop, Washington.[1][3]
Education
- Two Bachelor's of Science degrees in Agriculture Education/Forest and Range Management from Washington State University
- Master's degree in Public Administration from The Evans School of Public Affairs, University of Washington

Hover took office as Washington Director of Agriculture on April 1, 2013.[2] Hover resigned on March 30, 2015. [4]
