A Bureau County Coroner Election Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Bureau County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 8,642 (70%)Approveda
  • NO 3,703 (30%)[1]

This measure asked county voters if they wanted to have the County Coroner position be an elected office rather than an appointed office as it is now. Since it was approved, the first elected Coroner will be in 2012.[2]
