Hall ran for re-election to the Grand Prairie Independent School District school board to represent At-large Place 7 in Texas. Hall lost in the general election on May 7, 2022.

Before his term that began in 2016, Hall was a board member from 2012 to 2015. He ran for re-election unsuccessfully in the general election on May 9, 2015.[1]

2016

Two seats were up for election on May 7, 2016. While Place 6 incumbent Steve Pryor sought re-election, Place 7 incumbent Mike Skinner opted not to seek another term. Former candidate Gloria Carrillo and newcomer Angela Luckey faced Pryor in the by-district Place 6 race. For the open Place 7 seat, Bessye Adams, Burke Hall, and Mike Riley squared off in the at-large election. Ultimately Pryor and Hall secured the seats and won terms on the district board.[2]

Funding

Hall reported $4,616.00 in campaign contributions and $3,856.54 in campaign expenditures in the election.[3]

The general election on May 9, 2015, in the Grand Prairie Independent School District featured two seats up for election. In the District 5 race, incumbent Burke Hall faced challenger David Espinosa. Espinosa defeated Hall for the seat. District 1 incumbent Terry Brooks ran unopposed and won re-election by default.
