Burt Solomons
Burt Solomons is a former Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 65 from 1995 to 2013.
Solomons works as Of Counsel for Bell, Nunnally and Martin, Limited Liability Partnership, Legal Counsel for Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors, and has a private law practice.
He has previously worked as an Alternate Municipal Judge for Lewisville and Flower Mound from 1993-1994, Presiding Municipal Judge for the City of Carrollton from 1987-1993, and an Attorney for the City of Denton.[1]
Solomons is a member of the Texas Conservative Coalition.

Elections
2010
Solomons won re-election in District 65 in 2010. He defeated Mike Murphy (Washington) in the March 2 Republican primary and then defeated Libertarian Ryan Gray in the November 2 general election.[3]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Solomons won re-election to the Texas House of Representatives from Texas' 65th District, defeating Lee Hooper (L). Solomons received 47,471 votes in the election while Hooper received 12,114 votes.[4] Solomons raised $331,983 for his campaign.[5]
