Education
Conner received his bachelor's degree from Duke University in 1975 and his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1977.[8]
Career
Conner began his legal career in 1978 as an assistant public defender for the 19th Judicial Circuit. In 1979, he entered private practice with the firm Conley & Conley, P.A., litigating civil, domestic and criminal matters until 1984 when he became an Okeechobee County judge. Conner opened his own law practice in 1989. He was a partner in the firm Conner & Hooker, P.A. from 1996 until his appointment as circuit judge for the 19th Judicial Circuit in 1997. Conner served on the circuit court until his appointment to the Fourth District Court of Appeal in 2011.[8]
