The Bus Taxation Proration and Reciprocity Agreement is an interstate compact among Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Rhode Island. It allows the owners and operators of bus fleets to prorate their registration fees based on the number of miles driven in each member state.[1]
Text of the compact
The legislature of each member state passes the laws with certain modifications, but the core of the legislation remains the same.
