Opposition

Two of the seven seats on the Red Clay Consolidated Board of Education were up for general election on May 12, 2014. District B incumbent Martin Wilson Sr. and District G incumbent Catherine Thompson's seats were up for election. Both incumbents won re-election.

Only Wilson faced an opponent on the ballot. Alfred Lance Jr. and C.H. Brokaw both filed to run against Wilson, but Brokaw withdrew on February 12, 2015.[1] The election for District G was canceled as incumbent Thompson was the only candidate to file for the race. She was automatically re-elected.
