C.J. Manthe
C.J. Manthe was a member of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission (PUC). Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) appointed Manthe to the commission in October 2018, effective in November 2018.[1] Manthe left office in 2023.
Biography
Manthe worked as the director of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry from September 2017 to November 2018. Before that, she served for three years as the housing administrator in the department. She also served as deputy director and chief financial officer of the Nevada Rural Housing Authority. She previously was a member of the city council in the City of Blaine, Washington, and served as a county commissioner for Marathon County, Wisconsin.[1][2]
Education
Manthe graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, with a bachelor's degree in managerial accounting.[2]

Gov. Sandoval appointed Manthe to serve as a member of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission in October 2018. She succeeded former Commissioner Bruce Breslow, who retired November 2, 2018.[1] She was succeeded by Randy Brown following her retirement in 2023.
