Professionally, I serve as a Behavior Intervention Support Specialist, working directly with students and families navigating real challenges inside and outside the classroom. This work has given me firsthand insight into how policy decisions affect education, mental health support, and family stability in real time.
In addition to my work in schools, I serve as a pastor, where I work closely with families during both their most difficult and most joyful moments. That experience has strengthened my ability to listen, build trust, and help people navigate complex challenges.
I am running for the North Carolina House because I believe strong communities are built when we invest in public education, support working families, and create real economic opportunity. I want to help build a future where families don’t just get by they have the chance to thrive.- My campaign is grounded in the everyday realities of working families. I am running to make sure state government reflects the lived experiences of people who are struggling and still juggling, balancing work, family, education, and rising costs. Representation should be practical, compassionate, and responsive to real needs.
- I believe fully funding public education is essential to our district’s future. From early childhood through graduation, students deserve safe, well resourced schools with the support services necessary to succeed. Education policy should be guided by what helps students and families thrive, not political ideology.
- This campaign is about responsible, accountable leadership that works across differences and protects the checks and balances that safeguard our communities. I am committed to thoughtful governance that prioritizes opportunity, fairness, and long term stability for North Carolina.
Public education is foundational to long term success for individuals and communities. Through my work in schools, I have seen how access to strong teachers, support staff, and resources directly impacts student outcomes, workforce readiness, and long term economic mobility.
