C. Douglas Chamberlain was a judge on the Logan County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. He retired from the court in July 2012 and ran for District 85 of the Ohio House of Representatives in 2014.[1]

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Nino Vitale defeated Robert J. Luckey, III and C. Douglas Chamberlain in the Republican primary. Vitale was unchallenged in the general election.[3]
