C. Jean Bolin is a judge for the McIntosh County State Court in Georgia. On Nov. 7, 2012, she was appointed to the state court by Governor Nathan Deal to replace Dale Jenkins, effective in January of 2013.[1][2][3][4] She was re-elected to her state court post on May 20, 2014, for a term expiring in 2018.[5] She was re-elected to a four-year term in 2018.[6]

Bolin ran for re-election to the McIntosh County State Court.
General: She defeated Adam S. Poppell, III in the general election on May 20, 2014, receiving 68.7 percent of the vote. [4][5]

Education

Bolin received her B.A. degree from Shorter College and her J.D. from the Florida Coastal School of Law.[3]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge, Bolin worked as a private practice attorney and for the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. She served on the juvenile courts of Bryan County and McIntosh County from 2006 to 2012.[3]
