The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Susan Talamantes Eggman (D) and Sol Jobrack (R) defeated Catherine Jennet Stebbins (D) in the blanket primary. Eggman defeated Jobrack in the general election.[1][2][3]
