C. William Gaylor was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Nassau County District Court, 2nd District, in New York.[1]. He previously ran for election to the same office in 2012.[2]

Gaylor ran for election to the Nassau County District Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Independence primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 12.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Eileen J. Goggin, Robert E. Pipia, Darlene D. Harris, Fred J. Hirsh, Tricia Ferrell, Ignatius L. Muscarella and Michael A. Ciaffa. Additionally, he ran on the Republican party line, though there was no primary for that party. 
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 12.37 percent of the vote. He competed against Eileen J. Goggin, Robert E. Pipia, Darlene D. Harris, Fred J. Hirsh, Tricia Ferrell, Ignatius L. Muscarella and Michael A. Ciaffa for four open seats. [1][3] 

2012

Gaylor was one of six candidates competing for three positions on the Nassau County District Court, 2nd District, on November 6, 2012. He was defeated in the primary election, winning 14.62 percent of the vote.[2][4]

Education

Gaylor received his undergraduate degree in 1987 from the State University of New York - Excelsior College. He went on to earn his J.D. from Hofstra School of Law in 2006. He also has a master's degree from East Texas State University.[6][7]
