Caesar was born in Harlem, NYC. A ward of the state, Caesar spent his adolescence in a boys home. By acquiring marketable skills in vocational training, Caesar was able to transcend obstacles that would otherwise keep him from achieving success in business, motorcycle racing, and aerospace.
  • Caesar Gonzales will check the deficit spending and overbilling by county officials that is causing the County to go into debt, raising millage rates, discouraging economic investment, and stifling growth.
  • Currently, less than 5% of laborers in Douglas County are skilled workers. Gonzales believes that investing in the community will lead to higher-wage jobs within the county and encourage businesses to relocate will help to boost the local economy.
  • Gonzales plans to exercise fiscal restraint and promote open bidding with county development projects. His goal is to maximize value for constituents while avoiding wasteful spending.
Let's stop the fiscal mismanagement, cronyism, and questionable behavior by county officials that keeps putting Douglas County in the news cycle and in debt. Be the change in your community. Vote on principles instead of political narratives and unify the constituents. Let's restore Douglas County to the desirability that encouraged us to move here in the first place.
Fiscal conservatism. As Commission Chair, I will be directly responsible for approving county budgets and contracts. Since we are working with a taxpayer funded budget, we are directly responsible for giving Douglas County taxpayers the most for their money. We must stop wasting county resources on cronyism, graft, and pet projects that do not generate revenue for Douglas County and raise our millage rates. The County should not pay for the lifestyles of its officials!
Responsive leadership. I will advocate for transparency and regular meetings with you, the Douglas County constituents. I knows the value of being connected. I would like for each precinct to have in-person or teleconferences with him where they can discuss their needs and concerns for the county. Help me to help you.
That I helped restore Douglas County to the desirability that encouraged us to move here in the first place.
