Cale Bradford is a judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 2nd District. He assumed office on August 1, 2007. His current term ends on December 31, 2030.

Bradford ran for re-election for judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals 2nd District. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.

He was appointed to the court by former Governor Mitch Daniels (R) and was retained by voters in 2010.[1]

Education

Bradford received his B.A. in labor relations and personnel management from Indiana University at Bloomington in 1982 and his J.D. from Indiana University at Indianapolis Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1986.[1]

Career

Bradford began his legal career in private practice. In 1991, he became an assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, prosecuting major felony drug trafficking cases. After five years, he joined the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. He left the prosecutor's office when he was appointed judge of the Marion County Superior Court. Bradford remained on the bench in Marion County until his appointment to the Indiana Court of Appeals in 2007.[1]
