I’m Caleb Fahey — a father of six, a husband, a small business owner, and a dedicated community leader. I serve as an associate pastor at Sozo Church in Tacoma and have spent years helping families overcome addiction, homelessness, and hardship through faith-based outreach and recovery programs. As the founder of Fahey Cleaning Solutions LLC, I understand the challenges facing working families, and I know the value of hard work, fiscal responsibility, and community support. I’m running for Tacoma School Board to bring transparency, parental involvement, and integrity back to our education system — ensuring our children are equipped, protected, and prepared for the future.
  • Full transparency- Parents deserve a seat at the table when it comes to their children’s education. I will fight for full curriculum transparency, protect parental involvement in classroom decisions, and ensure no policy undermines the family’s role in raising and guiding children.
  • Prioritizing education- Every student deserves to learn in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. I will advocate for common-sense discipline, safe campuses, and academic priorities that put learning—not politics—at the center of our schools.
  • Fiscal Responsibility- As a small business owner, I know how to manage budgets and stretch every dollar. I will ensure taxpayer funds are spent wisely and advocate for accountability and measurable outcomes that directly support student success—not administrative bloat.
Education and policy reform, family engagement, school safety
I believe an elected official should be someone who leads by example—someone who works hard, keeps their word, and doesn’t just talk about change but puts in the effort to make it happen. I’ve had to learn a lot on my own in life, so I value being a self-learner—staying teachable, asking questions, and always growing. Honesty and reliability matter deeply to me. People deserve to know their leaders will show up, follow through, and tell the truth. I also believe humility is key—this isn’t about titles or ego, it’s about serving people well. At the end of the day, character matters. We need leaders who do the right thing even when no one’s watching.
I’m resilient, teachable, and deeply committed to serving others. My life has been marked by redemption and hard-won growth, which has taught me how to lead with humility and strength. As a small business owner, I know how to solve problems, manage budgets, and make tough decisions. As a father and pastor, I’ve learned to listen well, speak with conviction, and care deeply about the people I serve. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I show up, I learn, and I lead with integrity. I believe those qualities—grit, grace, and a servant’s heart—will help me be a strong and effective voice on the school board.
I want to leave a legacy of faith, family, and fearless service. I want my children—and the students in our community—to know that their future was worth fighting for. That someone stood up, not for power or popularity, but to protect their innocence, defend their potential, and champion truth in love. I hope people remember that I didn’t just talk about change—I showed up, I listened, I worked hard, and I didn’t quit when things got tough. If my life points others toward hope, restoration, and the belief that it’s never too late to turn things around—that’s the kind of legacy I want to leave behind.
