California Legislative Sessions and Compensation, Amendment 16 (1908)

The California Legislative Sessions and Compensation Amendment, also known as Amendment 16, was on the ballot in California on November 3, 1908, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for biennial sessions of the legislature and for a commencement date of the first Monday after the first day of January.[1][2]
