The California Municipal Charters Amendment, also known as Amendment 14, was on the ballot in California on November 8, 1892, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for the manner in which cities with populations greater than 3,500 could frame and adopt charters.[1][2]
