The California Municipal Debt Limitations Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in California on November 8, 1892, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure limited debts of counties, cities and other municipal districts to a year's revenue, except when approved by a two-thirds vote.[1][2]
