The California Public Schools Amendment, also known as Amendment 8, was on the ballot in California on November 3, 1908, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided that the public school system include day and evening elementary schools, secondary schools, normal schools and technical schools.[1][2]
