Rebecca believes that healthcare coverage is a human necessity and that all citizens should have healthcare. Too many times, people delay medical treatment due to the high cost of seeing a physician or filling a prescription. She is passionate about ensuring all of us have healthcare coverage.

Rebecca supports veterans and feels their benefits should not be taxed by California. She will work to see that this is changed. Rebecca is also passionate about expanding broadband access, reliability and competition everywhere in California. In rural and suburban areas access would enhance work from home possibilities, educational opportunities, ecommerce, telecommutes and, as a side effect, reduced highway traffic. The funding exists but gets stuck in regional control fighting. Our future economy is reliant on our future workers. Support for our Community Colleges and Early Childhood Education is key to securing a trained and content American workforce.
