California: On Thursday, January 21, the California Supreme Court unanimously ruled against a law that sought to put in place limits on the amount of marijuana a prescribed medical patient can possess. The court ruled that Senate Bill 420, which set the possession limit at 8 dry ounces, was beyond the Senate's legal bounds.[1]
