Calvin Colby

Calvin Colby was a superior court assistant judge in Essex County, Vermont.[1] He was first elected to the court in 2002 and assumed office on February 1, 2003.[2] Colby was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on January 31, 2019.[3]

Colby ran for re-election to the Vermont Superior Courts, as an assistant judge of Essex County.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 36.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Allen Hodgdon and John A. Noble.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3][4][5]
2010
Colby was re-elected to the associate judge position in 2010. He ran for re-election in 2010. He won with 36.5 percent of the vote in the primary.[6][7]

Career
Before he became a judge, Colby served as a selectman on the three-member board of selectmen in Lunenburg, Vermont.[8]
