2014
Bartolotta's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[3]
Making Good Paying Jobs Her Top Priority
- Excerpt: "She understands that government does not create jobs, but must ensure a more competitive environment for job-providers and workers in order to prevent more of our children and grandchildren from leaving to find work elsewhere."
Leading By Example to Reform Harrisburg
- Excerpt: "As our State Senator, Camera will live like we do – by driving her own car, paying for part of her health care, and never taking per diems just for showing up to do her job. Camera will also work to reduce the size of the legislature and to provide open and transparent government – to save tax dollars and restore our trust."
Protecting Taxpayers - Not the Politicians
- Excerpt: "Camera will never vote herself a pay raise – because she believes public service should be about serving others, not yourself. Sadly, while seniors and working families continue to struggle, elected officials whom we trusted vote themselves pension increases, pay raises and lead the list for taking costly perks – all paid for with our tax dollars. She’ll refuse the perks from Day One, including not taking a pension."
Focusing State Spending On Our Priorities
- Excerpt: "She’ll use common sense to fund priorities like education, senior programs and public safety. She will not support bloated budgets that increase taxes and pile on debt that our children will be forced to pay."
Promoting Homegrown Energy Independence
- Excerpt: "As our State Senator, she will do everything in her power to fight and block the Obama Administration’s extreme war on our coal industry – an industry which continues to provide good paying jobs and affordable energy to thousands of people. This is an issue about people, not politics."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
