|Upon retiring from the Marines, Camille began to follow her passion for Real Estate. Camille's dedication to helping others, drives her Real Estate business, as well as her charity ventures. Her involvement with local organizations, benefiting both foster children, as well as fellow Veterans in need, often fill her schedule.
In her free time, Camille and her son enjoy trips to the beach, where Jack is able to dig holes in the sand, and chase the waves.- As your Ward 12 School Board member, I will: *Encourage fellow parents to become involved in their student's education *Demand our schools provide full transparency with their teaching curriculum *Directly address our schools' performances and provide the community with regular updates
- *Set realistic goals for education quality improvement *Support in-school learning and advocate for higher attendance rates *Promote safety in all schools through direct partnership with our first responders
- *Advocate for fair Teacher contracts *Collaborate with Parents and Guardians on school policies *Honor the Tax Cap
I was in high school English class when another student burst into our class and yelled "a plane hit the twin towers!" Our teacher scolded him for "making things up," but as soon the bell for that class rang, I found the nearest television. My friends and I watched in horror as the second plane hit the towers, live on TV. I will never forget the images of people running from the buildings, and the poor souls who jumped from them to escape the fire. In those moments, we knew our lives would never be the same, this was OUR Pear Harbor. After school, my community flooded the local church and held a candlelight vigil for those who were killed. For weeks, the news showed the streets of NYC covered with "missing" posters. Families were desperate to find their loved ones. The world stopped and grieved with our country.
