Campaign website

Cunningham’s campaign website stated the following:

I'm Candace Cunningham, an independent candidate running for the US House of Representatives in the 3rd congressional district.

As an educator and the owner of HazePress, a small media business, I have dedicated my life to giving creativity a voice and news a source. But I believe that we need to do more than just speak up - we need to take action.

For years, I have been involved in community service, assisting those who are underpaid and overworked, just like myself. But now, I want to take my dedication to the next level and address the pressing issues that our district and our nation face today.

Our education system is failing to meet the needs of our job and housing markets. We're facing a housing crisis here in Arizona, with a large homeless population that includes young Arizonians, disabled individuals, and those earning below the median income. Rental practices are pushing people out, and it's time for a change.

I'm advocating for affordable and fair housing practices. We must lower the requirements for renting, allowing those below the median income to have access to safe and affordable housing. We need to cap the excessive monthly charges, and most importantly, invest in affordable housing initiatives.

But it doesn't stop there. As Americans, we cannot continue to ignore the outsourcing of income to fund big tech, while machines hinder our energy sources and contribute to global warming. Our future and the sustainability of our communities are at stake. We must work towards a more prosperous and environmentally friendly America for all.[1]
