Candace Gleason
Candace Bower Gleason was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 64 of the Maine House of Representatives.
Biography
Gleason earned her bachelor's degree in speech from the University of Maine, Orono, in 1976 and her master's from the University of Southern Maine in 1991. She is a teacher and chair of the English department at Edward Little High School.[1]

Elections for the Maine House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election took place on June 14, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was March 15, 2016.[2] Incumbent David Sawicki (R) did not seek re-election. He dropped out of the race after the Republican primary.
