Caveny ran on the Green Party ticket for Lieutenant Governor of Michigan in the 2014 elections, alongside gubernatorial running mate Paul Homeniuk. They faced the Republican ticket of incumbents Rick Snyder and Brian Calley, the Democratic ticket of Mark Schauer and Lisa Brown and two other minor party tickets.[1] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
