Candice A. Garcia-Rodrigo is a judge of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. Garcia-Rodrigo assumed office in 2021. Garcia-Rodrigo's current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Garcia-Rodrigo won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Garcia-Rodrigo was appointed to the court by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on March 25, 2021, to fill the vacancy of a new position created on September 24, 2019.[1]

Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Garcia-Rodrigo's appointment on March 25, 2021, identified her as a Democrat.[1]

Career

Garcia-Rodrigo received her J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law. From 2004 to 2008, she was an Associate at the Law Offices of Vincent B. Garcia & Associates, and she was an Associate at Betty Auton-Beck, Professional Law Corporation from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2018, she was an Attorney and Chief Financial Officer at Rodrigo Law Firm PC. She was Of Counsel at CKB Vienna LLP from 2017 to 2018 then an Adjunct Professor at the University of La Verne College of Law from 2018 to 2020. Directly prior to her appointment, Garcia-Rodrigo had served as a Commissioner at the Riverside County Superior Court since 2018.[1]
