Candidates for the 7th District Court

Edmond, Oklahoma: Primary elections for two positions on the Oklahoma 7th District Court will be held on July 27, 2010. This court has jurisdiction over Oklahoma County and its judges serve five-year terms.
Candidates for Office 2:
- Twyla Mason Gray, the incumbent, has served in this position on the 7th District Court for 12 years. She claims that she is tough, fair, independent and does not accept contributions from attorneys.
- Paul Faulk has worked as a trial lawyer for 23 years. He said that he disagrees with the courtroom conduct of Judge Gray.
- Jim Worrell is also running for the position.
Candidates for Office 7:
- Carson Brooks has been a practicing attorney in Oklahoma for his whole career. He focused on dispute resolution for businesses and families.
- Pat Crawley is a prosecutor. He has over 20 years of legal experience and has previously worked as a police officer and corporate CEO.
- Kent Eldridge is the presiding judge of the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Court and has 34 years of legal experience.
- Tim Rhodes is a lawyer with 20 years of experience. He has also worked as a special judge in Oklahoma city and as the chief deputy court clerk of Oklahoma County.
- Jackie Short has run her own private practice since graduating from law school. Her goal for the courts is that they be open, accessible and equal to all.
- Cindy Truong is an assistant district attorney in Oklahoma County. She said that she has not accepted contributions for her campaign from any law firms.[1]
