Candidates removed from the ballot in the 2011 state legislative elections
This page catalogs the candidates who initially filed to run for state legislative elections in 2011, but were at some point removed from the ballot.
There are two ways in which we categorize these events.
- Withdrew: This refers to when a candidate voluntarily removes their name from the ballot.
- Disqualified: This refers to when a candidate is removed from the ballot against their will.
Four states are holding elections on November 8, 2011. They are:
Candidate lists are released once the signature filing deadline passes. The signature filing deadlines for each state are as follows:
- Louisiana: September 8, 2011
- Mississippi: June 1, 2011
- New Jersey: April 11, 2011
- Virginia: June 15, 2011
