Candidates with no general election opposition in 2011 state legislative elections
578 seats of the country's 7,384 state legislative seats were up for election in the 2011 state legislative elections.
This page is a list of these four groups:
Democratic candidates for state senate with no Republican Party opponent
Democratic candidates for state representative with no Republican Party opponent
Republican candidates for state senate with no Democratic Party opponent
Republican candidates for state representative with no Democratic Party opponent
Most of these candidates had no challenger at all, but some of them did face a minor party candidate or an independent candidate.
Based on Ballotpedia staff's count, 247 candidates ran unopposed in the 2011 general election.
