Three Cape Coral City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Cape Coral which is in Lee County.

Two of the three measures were defeated

The first measure sought to allow the council to have a personal stand in meetings.

The second measure sought to allow the council to deal with city employees.

  • YES 6,485 (40.56%)
  • NO 9,504 (59.44%)Defeatedd

The third measure sought to allow the council to pay the assistant managers if fired.

  • YES 10,249 (64.94%)Approveda
