This measure was approved
- YES 7,635 (61.15%)
- NO 4,850 (38.85%)[1]
This measure asked county residents if they wanted to approve casinos and gambling facilities on boats within the county limits. Signatures from at least 2,635 residents were needed and the county clerk verified 2,727.[2] The group which had petitioned to get this measure on the ballot eventually campaigned against passage of the measure.[3]
