School officials were glad for the outcome and felt the burden of making the plans move forward with voter approval. The last school bonds were approved in 2000.[2]
This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $40,000,000 in order to help construct, furnish and renovate school buildings in the district. Local property taxes would not increase if the measure was approved.[3]
