The question on the ballot:
The Board of Directors of Carbonado Historical School District No. 19 adopted Resolution No. 02-11 concerning education funding. If approved, Proposition No. 1 would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, to support the District's educational programs and operations: Collection Year: 2013-2016; Approximate Levy Rate Per $1000 of Assessed Value: $5.31, $5.52, $5.52, $5.53; Levy Amount: $522,000, $538,000, $554,000, $571,000. All as provided in Resolution No. 02-11. Should Proposition No. 1 be approved?[3] |
