Carey Hamilton
Carey Hamilton (Democratic Party) is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 87. She assumed office on November 9, 2016. Her current term ends on November 4, 2026.
Hamilton (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 87. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Assemblymember Hamilton is a graduate of Pike High School in Indianapolis and has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington. Early in her career, Hamilton served as a program manager for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and as the first leader of Indiana’s Greening the Government Program. After this, Hamilton served as the executive director of the Indiana Recycling Coalition.[1]
