Carl Olaf Bue, Jr. was a federal judge with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He joined the court in 1970 after a nomination by President Richard Nixon (R). Bue assumed senior status on September 2, 1987. His service ended on December 24, 2020, upon his death.[1]

Bue was nominated to the Southern District of Texas by President Richard Nixon (R) on August 11, 1970, to a seat vacated by Joe McDonald Ingraham; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 13, 1970, and received commission on October 15, 1970. He assumed senior status on September 2, 1987.[1]
