Carl Butkus
Carl Butkus was a judge for Division XVI of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court. He assumed office in 2005. He left office on December 31, 2020.
Butkus was appointed to the court in 2005.[1]

Butkus was retained to the 2nd District Court with 71.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]

Education
Butkus received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Gonzaga University.[3]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Butkus was in private practice. He has also served as a law clerk for the Court of Appeals.[1]
